Steven Nelson, CFA
Steven Nelson has over 15 years of financial services industry experience, including 10 years at Ernst & Young, LLP where he previously was a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Risk Management group. He provided advisory services to Banks, Insurance Companies, Asset Managers and Hedge Fund clients from the Minneapolis, New York City, and Zurich, Switzerland offices. He was also the portfolio manager of the Prairiewood Value Fund, LLLP, a private, value-based investment partnership.
Steve is a graduate of Columbia Business School, where his studies and apprenticeships focused on Value Investing. He has an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Steve is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, and an inactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Nathan Anderson, CPA
Nathan Anderson graduated from North Dakota State University in 2013 where he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in accounting. Nathan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and spent the first 4 1/2 years of his career in the Minneapolis office of Deloitte & Touche, LLP. While at Deloitte, he was part of the Audit and Assurance group and served both public and private clients gaining experience in a variety of industries including retail, oil and gas, healthcare, education, and manufacturing.
In addition to his accounting degrees, Nathan's education background has focused on finance and investing, and he is currently a candidate for CFP® certification.

Kim Baumler
Kim Baumler has been our Office Manager since 2014. She is a model of efficiency that keeps the office running smoothly at all times. Her responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the office, preparing client account paperwork and correspondence, and ensuring a great client experience. She passionately orchestrates last minute client retirement contributions and charitable gifts every April and December.
Kim lives in West Fargo with her husband and three daughters. When she is not working, Kim enjoys running half marathons, cooking healthy meals for her family, and playing with her dog and cat.
